negative space

had a similiar thing i did awhile ago, i was outside after a wedding smoking and looking at my reflection in a plate glass sliding door, all i saw was parts of me, and i thought cool. i should draw that... so i did.


























this might be better, but ive gained some weight... life sucks.

anyway this was one idea i had, it was inspired from events from long ago. cold weather, new years, and denver.

week 3: dance (late!!!)

okay so this is late, i know, bad me.

actually this one was a tough one, the first thing that came to mind were those crappy highschool dances that i went to, and always ended up on the bleachers.

never been a big fan of dancing, or people for that matter either

this is kinda inspired by an ex from a long time ago, i know that she had a crap self-image and i think thats why she kept ketting more tats, to have control over what she saw in the mirror.

week 4 rain

this was drawn awhile ago, a simple ink sketch on a bar napkin that i came across the other day. i thought it was a good fit for this weeks submission.

originally there was text: maybe its raining... ...but who fucking cares anymore.

okay so here is a cleaned up version of the original sketch, it was inspired by what i was going through after a breakup, where i remember walking in the rain and not feeling a thing, sorry if the strong language offends anyone, but this is about me expressing/dealing with what i was going through.

week 2: jungle

okay so i missed out on this week, actually i didnt, i drew this earlier based on one i did and left at work last wednesday, but my life this week (and last for that matter) has been somehing of a train wreck and i havent had time to get this up before now.
anyway i hope you all enjoy.

under the sea

so im going back a bit and playing catch up on some of these.

im trying to connect my current situations and thoughts to the random subjects, in this case:

the other day had the pleasure of buying four year old her first pets for her birthday, goldfish.

week one is in the bag, it was done in graphite and then photoshopped, i didnt initally set about to get all deep but lately ive been reflecting how the concept of being inprisioned as to who you are in another persons mind, how they see you, is based usually on a memory or a mental snapshot, a portrait.

52 fridays

start of a new project i came up with the other day, called 52 fridays.

it will be a collection of drawings i will do each week (at least) inspired by illustration friday(and life in general).
