week 28: mask

every morning i look in the mirror and wonder, what masks will i wear today?

sometimes its predecided, and others (and mostly) its decided by the events of my life.

i seem to wear different masks with different people.

sometimes i wonder which one is the "real" me, and then i realize that it doesnt really matter anymore.

or maybe i just wish that it doesnt.

Love your illo style...but I do wish you could feel better about yourself :)

one of the things i like about your 'mask' is that there isn't one. the mask is so much more conspicuous in its absence; nicely done.

i think that we all tend to wear different masks with different people.

i find that depending on my mood, i either interpret this as 1) me hiding behind different masks, or 2) me letting different parts of myself come to the surface.

maybe they're all the "real" you. i'd like to think that we're all that complex and interesting that there's not just one face that sums us up.
