week 37: water

 

of all the jobs i take, i would have to say the one that i feel the most... nervous about would be tattoo design. to be honest i usually pass them them up. its a huge responsibility, to know that whatever it is i end up creating will be permanently marked on someones body. i usually spend way too much time on them, and even then i usually still feel like i havent done well enough. i was asked recently to design a water tattoo, funny that it would be this weeks topic, in this case she wants a mermaid.

this is just a few of the initial concept sketches i have come up with, likely i will go through many many more before i settle on what ill present her.
